How can you filter the list of items based on description?
You can filter on the description using these steps:
1. Click on the Settings link underneath Description.
2. Click on Show Specific Values.
3. Click on Click to show next to the date you want to display.
4. Click on Apply All Changes.
VoxPort will show you only the rows with the description you selected. To show all the rows again, click on Settings underneath Description, then click Clear Filters for This Column and Apply All Changes.

How can I enter a relative day (e.g. PND day 15) for dose date?
Sometimes the dosing is based on DOB so while all animals in a study will be given the same dose they will be given it at different times depending on their DOB. It would be nice to have the option in the dose group description page to say PND 15 or some such rather than assign a particular date with a dose group. How can I do this?
For the members of a dose group that are the same "relative day” that info can be put in the name of the dose group, or the description of the dose group (if it applies to the entire dose group. If not, you can split the dose groups in to treated (day x) & treated (day y). If you want to record the actual date for record keeping purposes you can use the actual dose day field.
What does "dose end time" mean?
Dose end time is applicable when the dose is given over a certain period rather than a single point in time dose. (Such as in the drinking water)

How do I link a dataset with a specimen? Is there a way to retroactively link specimens with image sets after uploading?
Yes, the Associate a Specimen with a Dataset link on the List Specimens page.

Can you link a specimen to multiple image sets?
Yes. You might have an image with multiple subjects in the picture.

Can you link a document (such as a physiological data chart) taken during a scan?
You can only link a document with the entire study or with a particular image set (aka dataset). Depending on what type of data you want to save, you might also be able to use our dynamic form functionality. This allows you to enter any type of text data and associate it with anything in VoxPort.

Is there a way to link multiple files of various types both to the animal and to an image set without making multiple copies of the file?
You can link an unlimited number of files to a particular image set. You can't link a file to an animal, but any files liked to an image of the animal are thusly connected to the animal if the image is linked to the animal. So you could look at the images of the animal and then look at the documents that are linked to those animals.

Is there a way to indicate transportation dates?
No, but you can put this in the description.

How do I indicate that these animals belong to XXXXXXX?
You can put this in the description. Additionally you can use the customer id field to indicate the unique tracking number that company uses for that animal.

Is there a way to link several images sets to a single document without having to create multiple instances of that document?
No. You can either upload the document multiple times or upload it once but link it to the whole study rather than to a particular image set.
