MR Visible Mouse atlas

MRPath is conducting an SBIR (Small Business Innovative Research) project under sponsorship of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The goal of this effort is to demonstrate the feasibility of an Internet-based, three-dimensional atlas of the mouse with effective volume resolution down to 100 x 100 x 100 microns (1 x 10-3 mm3), more than 10,000 times higher resolution that that of routine clinical MRI. The atlas will help students learn murine (mouse) anatomy and help researchers adjust to murine anatomy as imaged by MR in grayscale. We are currently in beta testing on the visible mouse atlas viewer. This viewer uses a subset of the VoxStation image analysis workstation software developed by MRPath in combination with ImageJ.

The visible mouse atlas viewer requires Java. On most systems you will be prompted to install Java if you do not have it or need a newer version. Also if you are behind a corporate firewall or proxy server, this version of the applet won’t work. Please send us email at info@mrpath.com and we’ll set you up with an account on our new system that lets you set your proxy server info.
